Silver Storm Head to Morehead City For Southeast District Baseball Tournament

HIALEAH, FL. - After winning the DII Region VIII Championship for the first time in school history two weeks ago, the ASA Miami Baseball team will head to Morehead City, North Carolina for the Southeast District Baseball Tournament. Play is set to begin on Friday, May 5th and will go through Monday, May 15th. With a game on Tuesday if needed.

The Silver Storm, who are the three seed in the tournament will take on the six seed Wake Tech Community College (29-20) on Friday morning at 10:00 AM. The games will be played at Big Rock Stadium. The home of the Morehead Marlins, a summer collegiate team who compete's in the Coastal Plains League.

The Southeast District Champion will advance to the 2017 NJCAA Division II World Series at David Allen Memorial Ballpark in Enid, Oklahoma on May 27th through June 3rd.
