Hialeah, FL. - On Thursday, November 3rd, the ASA Miami women's soccer team helped build Carl F. Slade park, a brand new playground in the City of Hialeah. The project was led by KaBOOM - the national non-profit dedicated to ensuring that all kids get a childhood filled with the balanced and active play needed to thrive.
Several other organizations contributed to the effort including Target, Miami Marlins and Florida National University to name a few. ASA Miami head women's soccer coach Suzy Duffy was honored to be apart of something so special in our community. "It was good for our girls to take part in an event that gives our youth an opportunity to stay active and encourage a healthy lifestyle."
