ASA Miami Women's Tennis Advance To FCSAA Finals

TAMPA, FL - A sigh of relief came from the Silver Storm as #1 seed Yuliana Munroy came from behind to win her final two sets (6-4, 6-1), after dropping the first set (4-6) at the FCSAA Regional tournament. The quarterfinals and semifinals for the singles matches took place today, along with the quarterfinals of the doubles matches. After receiving a first-round bye in all six flights of singles due to seeding, ASA Miami played their singles semifinals matches this afternoon. All six of the singles won their matches, advancing to their respective championship, which will be played tomorrow.

ASA Miami stands at the top of the leaderboard with 12 points.

UP TOMORROW (Day 2): ASA Miami will begin the day with six flights of singles, who will play for their respective championships. All three of ASA Miami's doubles teams will also play following the single's championships. ASA received seedings for doubles, automatically advancing them into the semifinals.
