ASA Miami Men's 4x100 Team Qualifies For Nationals

TALLAHASSEE, FL. - The ASA Miami Track & Field team traveled to Seminole country this weekend to participate in the Seminole Twilight meet, hosted by Florida State University.

The men's 4x100 team finished third and qualified for the NJCAA National Tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas with a time of 41.77. D'Carlton Grant, Kevin Wallace, Brandon Mosley and Ronique Todman round out the relay team. The qualification time for the men's 4x100 relay is 41.92. 

Kala Penn finished third in the long jump (5.69m) and second in the triple jump with a personal record of 12.73 meters. Penn has qualified for the National Tournament in both events.


The Silver Storm have already qualified for the National Tournament in the following events:

  • Women's Long Jump
  • Women's Triple Jump
  • Men's 200 Meter Run
  • Men's 400 Meter Run
  • Men's 4x100 Meter Run
