HIALEAH, FL. - Four members of the ASA Miami men's soccer team have been named to the 2017 NJCAA All-Region VIII team. Anderson Delubac earned first team honors while Exodus Bargblor, Makenson Cadet and Juan Maximiliano Rocco landed spots on the second team.
Delubac was the team captain and led the team in points (eight) with three goals and two assists. Cadet was the most important midfielder for ASA this season and Coach J.C. Gonzalez can't stop raving about him. "Makenson is definitely one of the pillars in this program going forward" Gonzalez stated. "We want to build around him and watch his game rise to another level."
Rocco was excellent guarding the net all season long for ASA with 54 saves and a 3-4 record. Bargblor came off the bench for the majority of the season with fresh legs and blazing speed that would catch teams off guard. He set up ASA with multiple opportunities to score off set pieces and penalty kicks.
