ASA Miami Futbol Splits Games During Georgia Trip

Cuthbert, GA. - After a crushing overtime loss to Andrew College on Friday afternoon, ASA Miami (4-4) bounced back with a 1-0 victory over Thomas University JV on Saturday. Bouncing back seems to be the motto for the Silver Storm soccer team as they have avoided losing back-to-back games this season. Francisco Reyes would score the lone goal for ASA against Thomas after a sweet pass was made by Felipe Marinho Dos Santos at the 63rd minute mark.

ASA dominated with 29 shots during the contest, but only eight of those shots were on goal, with the lone goal coming via Reyes. ASA recorded their first shutout of the season with Juan Maximiliano Rocco defending the goal for the Silver Storm. Rocco finished the game with six saves.
