DeMarcus Van Dyke Hired To Coach Defensive Backs

HIALEAH, FL. - Head Football Coach Chris Boden has hired local star, DeMarcus Van Dyke as the team's new defensive backs coach.

Van Dyke went to Monsignor Pace High School in Miami Gardens. He would continue his career at the University of Miami after earning a full scholarship. Van Dyke was at Miami from 2007-2010 and was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the 3rd round, 81st overall in the 2011 NFL Draft

The former NFL player and Miami Hurricane was on the coaching staff for the Public vs. Private All-Star game in South Florida. He has also volunteered at local optimists parks.

"I'm extremely grateful for the opportunity that Coach Boden has given me. Coaching is something I knew I always wanted to do once my playing career was over."
